LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Somerville will be closing next month and through to the spring as it undergoes a $12 million renovation that Lego described as bringing the theme park into the ‘next generation.’The new attraction will include a ride, 4D theater and creative workshop as well as bring a brand-new look and design to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, which will close on September 6 for renovations. The new LEGO Discovery Center will open in the spring of 2023.’By creating this highly interactive indoor LEGO experience we will give families a place to play, explore, create and have fun together,’ said Julia Goldin, chief product and marketing officer at The LEGO Group, said in a press release.
